Cat's Name:
Phoenix
Age:
22 Moons
Gender:
She-cat
Clan:
Shadowclan
Rank:
Leader (?)
Description:
Phoenix is reddish black. She almost resembles a phoenix in the way that her fur looks as if it's on fire in the sun and made of ashes at night. Her eyes are reddish hazel. Her nose is black, and she is long and almost elastic in a way. She is fast and strong, despite her appearance as a small she-cat, and has small paws that she can use to send an opponent off to Starclan. Her tail is long and thin, and can usually be used to tell her mood, especially when she's being mysterious or mad. Her face is long, like an oriental, and so is her fur. She's an Ocelot, and she's proud of it. Usually cats are just wild cats, but she's the odd one out. She often needs to wash herself, because the amount of fur that she has makes it hard not to be matted and dirty, no matter how many times you wash. She has black whiskers, almost as if to top off the illusion of her phoenixness. She has powerful back legs, and is good at jumping and climbing trees; she isn't as good at fishing, but that's not a main source of food for Eagleclan. She can catch a rabbit in no time at all due to her fast reflexes.
Personality:
Phoenixpelt is rough around the edges, so to speak. She can be nice, but you have to earn her trust first. She speaks from her heart, and does what she believes is best for her and her loved ones. She is the one most cats would dream about: Not too full of herself, not too needy, always willing to sacrifice for others. She feels that being a Warrior is a gift; not everyone gets to be one, though that is what they're raised for. She thinks that those who go for being a medicine cat or a loner or rouge doesn't waste the gift exactly, but that they chose to decline on what some cats dream of becoming. Don't get her wrong, she knows the medicine cats are important and sometimes apprentices are chosen unwillingly, but she feels that all they can do is defend from sickness, while warriors defend from all kinds of ways to die. She is proud of herself and anyone who has made it through the arduous process of becoming a warrior, and she tends to show it. Call her rankist, call her rude, say whatever, but she isn't what you think. She longs to have kits someday, and only hopes that she can and isn't so different that she can't. She believes in hard work getting you places, and thinks that you can only get where you want to be if you try hard enough.
She can get angry and rash, but when she does, it's best to keep a little distance from her. She turns you inside out with her anger; she takes your worst nightmares and memories and turns them against you. She doesn't do this on purpose; it is a natural reflex to her. She also is more agitated when angry: a delightful little concotion of emotions, especially if you're in a high ranking position, like deputy or leader. You know that someday your clan will depend on you to help and lead them through the harsh times, as well as the easy ones.
When she's sentimental and sad, she'll often be lost in her memories of her past life. Not what she was in her past life; she'll be lost in memories of herself as a younger, more carefree kit and apprentice. Ever since her becoming deputy, she's needed to free herself from her emotions. And doing such a thing is hard, and it often doesn't work. Every cat needs emotions to work; it's in their hard-wiring. She's better to be around when she's sad, because she won't try to rip your head off, Eagleclan or not. She just tell stories of things that happened as she was a kit, and often times they're good tales.
She can also be a prankster and funny. When she's like this, it's best to back off before an herb of some sort ends up in your fresh-kill. She has been known to tell a cat their crush is in the forest waiting for them, while the cat who is being crushed on is in on the plan, and teases the other of the cat in love's feelings. It is cruel, yes, but that's why this side doesn't often come out in broad daylight. It is often shadowed in her face, lines of mischief forming slowly on her face as a plan would slowly but surely develop until it was fool-proof.
