I am a warrior, watching my clan fight for freedom.
I wonder why we have to hurt so, if only so we can live.
I hear the yowling of pain from our Medicine Cat's den, those awaiting to go to Starclan.
I see my leader, forlorn and exhausted, fighting for us even in the darkest of times.
I want to stop this, to be able to live free from harm.
I am a warrior of my clan, begging our ancestors to stop.
I pretend to have strength, to be able to fight on, if only for my brethren.
I feel forgotten by Starclan, left to face these horrors alone.
I touch the blood of my children, who have been laid before me for our vigil.
I worry how we will ever come up from a time so terrible and backbreaking.
I cry out to the heavens, watch us! Watch us take control, watch us learn to contain this evil!
I am a warrior of my broken clan, learning to cope with the loss of my brothers.
I understand that we do not have good odds; since when have we ever had good odds against those stronger than us?
I say to my fellow warriors: How? How can we overcome this oppression? How can we become stronger than this hate?
I dream of a day where we can be free, and no longer have to bow down to this viciousness; a day that will come, I will see to it that it does.
I try to help my friends and family; we are all one in this mutiny against the odds.
I hope that we can overcome our weakness and these cats holding us down.
I am a dying warrior, a warrior who has lived through hell and made it through the flames to my starry ancestors above.
Come and help in this fight
